OCT 2nd,2009

This morning I called Sen. Jim Demint’s office, gravely concerned that John Kerry, yes the Vietnam traitor Kerry, who inflicted on himself wounds to claim a Purple Heart, had blocked Sen. Demint’s trip to Honduras.

Well lo and behold, I was  told that Senator DEMINT WAS ALREADY in HONDURAS with  four other Congress representatives! Folks this is a day to rejoice. Sen. Demint is a good, honest   man who has picked up the Honduran cause and is helping us fight the injustices of the Obama Administration and the Department of State. LET’S PRAY THAT GOD LEADS HIM AND HE HELPS TURN AROUND THE TABLES FOR OUR BELOVED HONDURAS! Praise to Hondurans and interim pres. Micheletti for withstanding courageously the pressure of the International Community who refused to see that reason and constitutional law were on Honduras’ side.

The Congressional Research Service (a non-partisan research facility that is part of the Library of Congress) completed this study at the request of Congressman Aaron Shock (R-IL). The short version is that the Honduran Supreme… Court and Congress acted appropriately and LEGALLY in Zelaya’s removal from office. He should NOT have been sent to Costa Rica (we’ve all said that from day 1), but his removal from office was correct and just!
Will the State Department listen to this unbiased, authoritative study? Only time will tell. I hope that they will. Read the whole report at:

Leftist thugs ransacked the Honduran capital after news broke that ousted leader Manuel Zelaya had returned to the country and was hiding in the Brazilian embassy.

Leftist thugs and Zelaya supporters ransacked the Honduran capital Tegucigalpa.
La Gringa’s Blogacita reported:

Virtually every private car in the area of the Brazilian Embassy where Zelaya is hiding was damaged by breaking out some or all of the windows and ruining the tires. Ironically, Mel Zelaya’s own mother’s car was parked on the street and was likewise vandalized.

Private homes in the area were broken into and robbed. Citizens were assaulted. Death threats were sprayed unto neighbors’ walls. Mountains of trash were strewn in the streets.

At least one woman’s house was completely ransacked, robbed, and her two employees were terrorized. The Zelayistas smoked marijuana as they destroyed and smashed everything in her house up to and including the ceilings, doors, and windows − the video of her home shown on the news was horrifying. Other neighbors were terrorized, assaulted, threatened with rape, and forced to prepare food by the rioters while they were being robbed. Numerous citizens called the police about home invasions.

Pro-Democracy Honduran Supporters Rally Against Marxism in St.Louis

For the first time in history the United States government is siding with Marxist leaders Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega, Raul Castro and Evo Moralhonduras_rallyes against the pro-democratic Honduran government of Roberto Micheletti.
The Honduran Congress and Supreme Court along with the military ousted Leftist President Manuel Zelaya from power after his illegal moves to secure his presidential post as a lifetime position. Zelaya was, of course, supported by regional Marxists in Venezuela, Bolivia, and Cuba. The Honduran government appointed Roberto Micheletti president until the planned elections in November. At that time he will turn over control to the democratically elected successor. Now, the Obama government is saying they will not recognize the winner of this November election.

But, the Hondurans are fighting back against the misguided Obama administration foreign policy. The St. Louis Honduran community held a Freedom Protest on Tuesday tonight.

Greta Van Susteren posts interview with American(Mitch) living in Honduras on Foxnews.com. Listen in his own words what Zelaya was doing to the country. Only here will you hear about the pre-filled ballots, printed in Venezuela for a referendum in Honduras (!?) The actions that removed Zelaya were a culmination of approximately two years of actions from the part of Zelaya in an effort to institute himself as a Chavez-styled dictator. Listen to Mitch’s explanation in plain English of what transpired in Honduras. THANKs MITCH!

An Apology is in Order

Written by Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs

The Obama Administration has made a name for itself by apologizing for a variety of American political decisions for which it was not responsible. It is much harder to apologize for your own mistake than to apologize for what other people did in other times. But an apology is in order. Secretary of State Clinton, who plans to meet with former Honduran President Manuel Zelaya on behalf of President Obama, should apologize to him and to current Honduran President Roberto Micheletti. (First watch the embedded video to get your facts straight.)

We suggest something like this.

“On behalf of the President of the United States and myself, I apologize for having jumped to the conclusion that events in Honduras last week constituted a military coup. We should have taken the time to understand the legal and constitutional issues in play in Tegucigalpa and should not have pre-judged the outcome. Our knee-jerk decision to stand with Hugo Chávez, Daniel Ortega and Raúl Castro was based on our political proclivity, not on an informed understanding of the issue at hand.

“Former President Zelaya, we apologize for giving you false hope that the United States would support your return to the presidency. Having now read Article 239 of the Honduran constitution ["No citizen who has already served as head of the Executive Branch can be President or Vice-President. Whoever violates this law or proposes its reform, as well as those that support such violation directly or indirectly, will immediately cease in their functions..."] we understand that you had ceased to be the legal president before your arrest.

“President Micheletti, we apologize for making your legitimate, temporary assumption of the presidency more difficult than it should have been. We will work with the OAS to restore Honduras’s good name.

“To the Honduran Supreme Court, attorney general, parliament, Council on Human Rights and Catholic Church, we apologize for undermining your legal and moral authority.

“General Velasquez, we apologize for failing to note that you were fired for properly refusing to carry out an illegal order from then-President Zelaya to distribute ballots for a referendum deemed illegal by the supreme court and the attorney general. To the Honduran military, we apologize for the unfounded assumption that you carried out a military coup. It has become clear that you were enforcing a legal warrant for the arrest of former President Zelaya, and it is equally clear that at no time did the military attempt to rule the country. It was our prejudice against Latin American military establishments that led us to say that you had behaved outside the law. You did not.

“To the Honduran people, we apologize for encouraging supporters of former President Zelaya to take to the streets in an attempt to force the reversal of the legal actions of the Honduran government. Our mistake no doubt contributed to the deaths of two Honduran citizens, and for this we are most sorry. We further apologize to the Honduran people for thinking the worst of the institutions of your government and for treating a democratic friend and good neighbor like a banana republic.

“And with our apology is our promise to do better in the future.”

  2. I don’t understand the position of the U. S. Government. It has no basis.

    • Neither do I. I do understand that the Obama Administration has its own doctrine, diametrically opposed to JFK’s:
Oppose any Friend, fight any Foe in order to assure the prevalence of Tyranny!
